Job summary

Sunshine Coast Council in Caloundra is seeking an experienced people and operational leader to head its Parking Services team at a pivotal moment of evolution. You will guide a 12-strong unit and help shape a technology-enabled regional parking service, with a nine-day fortnight.

You will coordinate day-to-day parking operations, oversee contracts and suppliers, develop rosters, and drive performance improvements using data to deliver fair, efficient outcomes for the community.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in local government or regulatory services.
• Experience with contracts, technology and compliance.
• Ability to improve how parking services are operated and how stakeholders are served.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 12 Parking Officers and coordinate day-to-day parking operations.
• Establish clear priorities and rosters; develop team capability.
• Oversee operational contracts and service providers; contribute to procurement and system improvements.
• Monitor financial and operational performance; use data to improve deployment and customer outcomes.
