Job summary

Programmed Property Services is seeking an experienced Painter to join our established commercial painting team in Brisbane. You will work across a variety of commercial painting and maintenance projects throughout Brisbane and contribute to delivering high-quality workmanship.

The role requires a trade qualification in Painting and Decorating, a White Card, and a valid driver’s license. You will work safely, collaboratively with the team, and contribute to excellent customer service on every

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, filling and patching.
• Apply paint and protective coatings using brushes, rollers and spray equipment.
• Complete internal and external painting works.
• Work safely from ladders, scaffolds and elevated work platforms.
• Protect surrounding surfaces and maintain a clean work area.
• Follow project specifications, SWMS and safety procedures.
• Collaborate with supervisors, painters and other trades.
• Deliver a professional standard of workmanship and customer service.

Programmed Property Services is seeking an experienced and reliable Painter to join our established commercial painting team in Brisbane.

About the Role

You will work across a variety of commercial painting and maintenance projects throughout Brisbane. Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, filling and patching
• Applying paint and protective coatings using brushes, rollers and spray equipment
• Completing internal and external painting works
• Working safely from ladders, scaffolds and elevated work platforms
• Protecting surrounding surfaces and maintaining a clean work area

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

• A trade qualification in Painting and Decorating
• Previous commercial and/or residential painting experience

• A current driver’s license and reliable transport
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• A strong commitment to workplace health and safety
• The ability to work independently and follow instructions
• A reliable, punctual and professional approach

EWP, Working at Heights and other relevant industry licenses or tickets will be highly regarded.
