Chroma Painting and Services is seeking an experienced Painter to join our Brisbane team on a casual or full-time basis. You will perform professional painting across residential and commercial projects, ensuring high-quality finishes and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Formal qualification in painting and decorating, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Proven experience on residential and commercial projects.
• Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation to job sites.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and filling to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality.
• Apply paint, varnish, stain, and other protective coatings using brushes, rollers, spray equipment, and other appropriate tools.
• Select appropriate paint types, colours, and finishes in consultation with clients and supervisors.
• Protect surrounding areas and fixtures using drop sheets, masking tape, and other protective coverings.
• Maintain and care for painting equipment, ensuring tools are clean and in good working condition.
• Follow health and safety regulations and site-specific safety protocols at all times.
• Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and client expectations.
• Communicate effectively with clients, supervisors, and team members regarding project progress and any issues.
• Work efficiently to meet project timelines and deadlines.
• Maintain a tidy and organised work environment, disposing of waste responsibly.

This is a key position within our operations, where you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality painting services to our diverse client base.
