Job summary

Programmed Maintenance Services on the Sunshine Coast, QLD, is seeking an experienced painter to join our team. You will be responsible for the timely preparation and painting of nominated customer sites to a high standard under the direction of a Supervisor or Foreperson.

You will support the team to deliver projects safely within budgeted hours and materials, while ensuring customer satisfaction and quality.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a painter.
• A strong commitment to and understanding of OSH & E procedures and standards.
• Have a desire to put their skills to use in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Timely preparation and painting of nominated customer sites to a high quality as per directions of Supervisor/Foreperson.
• Support the team to deliver projects safely within budgeted parameters (hours, materials and quality).
• Ensure job is completed to the customer’s satisfaction under supervision and direction.
• Maintain a safe work environment and comply with site safety rules.

Our Painters are responsible for the timely preparation and painting of nominated customer sites to a high quality as per the directions of the Supervisor or Foreperson. A Painter also supports the team to deliver projects safely within the budgeted parameters (hours, materials and quality) and always endeavours to ensure that the job is completed to the customer’s satisfaction under the direction of the Supervisor or Foreperson.

Skills and Experience

• Previous experience as a painter
• A trade qualification in painting is desirable but not essential
• A strong commitment to and understanding of OSH & E procedures and standards
• Have a desire to put their skills to use in a team environment
