Paediatric People is a specialist medical clinic in Melbourne seeking a casual Medical Receptionist to greet patients, manage bookings, and support the clinical team with administrative tasks. Candidates should have experience in medical or allied health reception, strong computer skills with Microsoft 365, and be comfortable with busy, patient-focused work.

Qualifications

• Experience in medical, dental, or allied health reception or administration is a must!!
• Strong computer skills, accuracy and speed in navigating patient management software and Microsoft 365 are essential. Experience with Xestro Patient Management Software is ideal, but if you are a quick learner and not afraid to jump in, this won't be an issue.
• A strong ability to multitask and prioritise. We have very important patients to care for, and some days can be stressful; we want someone who thrives in a busy environment and pays attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential—candidates must be warm, friendly, and able to interact empathetically with patients and families.
• Team players who support each other and help wherever possible ensure a wonderful experience for colleagues, doctors, patients, and families.
• A desire for personal growth and excellence. We are not your average medical clinic; we are innovative, love new ideas, and constantly seek ways to improve our services. This role is not for someone content to sit on the sidelines.

Paediatric People is a specialist medical clinic in Elsternwick committed to supporting children and families in a warm and welcoming environment. Our incredible team of pediatricians, specialist GPs, nurses, and support staff work together to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our patients.

About the Role

We are looking for an extraordinary receptionist to join our team. We value a positive, can-do attitude, motivation, initiative, and teamwork. The right candidate will be considered for a casual position with hours ranging from 8am til 530pm.

What You'll Be Doing
