Qualifications

Australian recognised tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant Trade Certificate.
Experience in on-site engineering or coordination for large-scale resources construction/maintenance projects.
Proven ability to develop technical specifications and scopes of work for procurement and subcontract activities.
Experience expediting vendors to meet deadlines.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills with a safety focus.
Proof of right to work in Australia and a valid passport.

Responsibilities

Work with Procurement Lead and Project Manager to meet objectives on time for cost, safety and quality.
Assist with procurement of equipment, materials and services to meet specs and schedules.
Collaborate with client representatives to deliver to their requirements.
Interface between engineering and project delivery to maintain compliance.
Manage and resolve technical queries as required.
Compile schedule, cost, progress and forecast reports for the project.
Provide project support and implement best practice on the project.
