Job summary

Monadelphous is seeking an experienced Fire Systems Package Engineer to support the delivery of a major power station project in Queensland. The role will handle fire detection, protection and life safety systems across both operational and non-process facilities, starting in Brisbane before site deployment on a 2:1 roster.

You will lead end-to-end package delivery, coordinate suppliers and stakeholders, ensure compliance with Australian standards, and provide technical support to construction

Qualifications

• Experience in Fire Systems Engineering or Package Engineering on large projects.
• Knowledge of Hazardous area compliance (AS/NZS 60079), NCC, Australian Standards, NFPA.
• Ability to manage design, procurement, construction and commissioning phases.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of Fire & Gas Detection and Protection packages.
• Coordinate design, procurement, construction and commissioning activities.
• Manage vendors, subcontractors and project stakeholders.
• Review fire system designs and construction deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with Australian standards and safety regulations.
• Provide technical support to on-site teams during execution.
