Job summary

Monadelphous is seeking a Package Engineer to join our PNG Operations team in Brisbane. The role provides technical leadership across procurement, estimating, contractual correspondence, quality assurance and stakeholder management for a major program of works.

You will work closely with the Procurement Lead and Project Manager to meet cost, safety and schedule targets, assist with procurement of equipment, materials and services, and maintain reports and forecasts while ensuring compliance and

Qualifications

• Experience in on-site engineering or coordination for large-scale resources projects.
• Proven ability to develop technical specs and scopes of work for procurement and subcontract activities.
• Proven experience expediting vendors to meet deadlines.
• Strong written and technical skills with problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Work with Procurement Lead and Project Manager to meet cost, safety and quality targets.
• Assist with procurement of equipment, materials and services and ensure specs and schedules are met.
• Coordinate with client representatives to deliver requirements.
• Interface management between engineering and project delivery to meet specs and contracts.
• Oversee resolution of technical queries and provide timely guidance.
• Prepare schedule, cost, progress and forecast reports for the project.
• Support project team and promote best practices on the project.
