Constant Security is hiring a Resident Support Officer for overnight shifts at our Canberra student accommodation. This role emphasizes wellbeing, respect, and community support over enforcement, providing a calm, trusted presence after hours.

You’ll respond to concerns, conduct patrols, monitor access, and liaise with management and emergency services. Essential requirements include ACT Security Licence, First Aid/CPR, RSA, Working With Children Check, and availability for overnight shifts.

• Current ACT Security Licence.
• First Aid and CPR certification.
• RSA certification.

• Availability for overnight shifts.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Calm, professional and approachable manner.

Responsabilités

• Provide after-hours support to residents.
• Respond to wellbeing concerns with empathy and professionalism.
• Conduct regular security patrols and walkthroughs.
• Monitor access control and shared residential spaces.
• Assist with resident enquiries and access issues.
• Respond to incidents, emergencies and first-response situations.
• Identify hazards and escalate safety concerns.
• Complete incident and daily activity reports and system updates.
• Support a respectful, inclusive residential culture.
• Liaise with property management and emergency services when required.
• Complete shift handovers and maintain operational accountability.
