Epworth Geelong is seeking a Patient Services Clerk to support the Emergency Department overnight. This permanent part-time role is 3 days per week, 11:00 pm to 7:00 am, with a rotating roster and coverage across seven days.

You will provide efficient administrative support and strong customer service to patients, visitors and clinical staff, including health fund eligibility checks, admissions/discharges, bed allocations, data entry and financial transactions.

Qualifikationen

• Previous administration experience in health care sector preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong time management and organisational abilities.

• Conducting health fund eligibility checks and patient estimates.
• Coordinating pre-admission requirements.
• Managing patient admissions and discharges.
• Allocating beds for admitted patients.
• Responding promptly to patient, visitor and clinician enquiries.
