Job summary

Sofitel Adelaide is seeking a dedicated Night Auditor to deliver exceptional guest service during overnight shifts, including check-in/out, and supporting reporting and audits. You will engage with guests, provide regional recommendations, and uphold Sofitel’s standards across departments.

Requirements include front office/night audit experience, Opera PMS/Windows/MS Office proficiency, POS familiarity, and full Australian working rights. Night shifts, weekends and holidays are required.

Qualifications

• Front office experience including night audit preferred.
• Proficiency with Windows, MS Office, and Opera PMS.
• POS experience is an asset.
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills.
• Full Australian working rights and willingness to work nights/weekends/public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Night Manager with reports and statistics per standards and audit procedures.
• Balance Food & Beverage POS and credit card transactions to journal reports.
• Greet guests, check-in/out, respond to requests and settle accounts with exceptional service.
• Assist other departments with overnight duties to ensure guest satisfaction.

• Assisting the Night Manager to check and prepare reports & statistical information in accordance with service standards and auditing procedures
• Balance Food & Beverage point of sale transactions and credit card transactions to journal reports
• Greet, check-in, respond to requests and settle accounts while providing exceptional service
• Assist other departments with overnight duties as required to ensure a positive guest experience

Qualifications

What you will bring to the role:

• A service-focused personality is essential, with the ability to connect with guests through story telling and anticipation of needs
• Prior night audit / front office experience
• Experience working with Windows, Microsoft Office Suite and Opera (or a related PMS system)
• POS experience is an asset
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills, with the ability to think on your feet
• Unprovisional full driver’s license an advantage. Confident driving both automatic and manual cars
• Fluency in English language, both written and verbal; additional languages are an asset
• Must have Responsible Service of Alcohol certification
• Full Australian working rights
• Full availability to nights, weekends, public holidays essential
