Job summary

Sofitel Brisbane Central in Brisbane city is seeking a detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our Front Office team. You will balance daily transactions, reconcile guest accounts, and provide outstanding service during overnight hours to ensure guest satisfaction.

Key duties include generating reports, assisting guests, and collaborating with departments to resolve discrepancies while maintaining security and confidentiality in a fast-paced luxury hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Night Auditor or in a similar role within hospitality.
• Proficiency in Opera Cloud and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.

• Provide exceptional customer service during check-in/check-out and overnight.
• Assist guests with inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and employees.
• Follow and complete the Night Audit checklist to ensure all tasks are done.
• Collaborate with other departments to address discrepancies.
• Generate and distribute various financial and operational reports.
• Support the front desk team with administrative tasks as needed.

• Provide exceptional customer service during check-in, check-out, and throughout the night shift
• Assist guests with inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for both guests and employees
• Follow and complete the Night Audit checklist to ensure all required tasks are accomplished
• Collaborate with other departments to address any discrepancies or concerns
• Generate and distribute various financial and operational reports
• Support the front desk team with administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications

You will excel in this role if you have:

• Previous experience as a Night Auditor or in a similar role within the hospitality industry (essential)
• Proficiency in hotel management software, particularly Opera Cloud, and Microsoft Excel
