Job summary

Sofitel Brisbane Central in Brisbane City is seeking a meticulous Night Auditor to join our Front Office team. You will balance daily transactions, reconcile guest accounts, and maintain guest satisfaction throughout the night shift.

You will use Opera Cloud and Excel, with a focus on accuracy, confidentiality, and timely reporting. The role requires flexibility for overnight hours and collaboration with other departments to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Night Auditor or in a similar role within the hospitality industry (essential).
• Proficiency in hotel management software, particularly Opera Cloud, and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Verify and reconcile guest accounts, ensuring all charges are correctly posted.
• Provide exceptional customer service during check-in, check-out, and throughout the night shift.
• Assist guests with inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for both guests and employees.
• Follow and complete the Night Audit checklist to ensure all required tasks are accomplished.
• Collaborate with other departments to address any discrepancies or concerns.
• Generate and distribute various financial and operational reports.
• Support the front desk team with administrative tasks as needed.
