InterContinental Sydney | Overnight Operations is seeking an experienced Assistant Night Manager to join the overnight leadership team at our 509‑room luxury hotel in Circular Quay, Sydney. You will supervise Front Office colleagues, manage overnight operations, and ensure guest experiences meet five‑star standards.

Responsibilities include leading the night team, handling guest requests and escalations, performing night audit procedures, and coordinating safety and security.

Qualificações

• Strong experience in hotel Front Office operations, with previous supervisory or management experience.
• Proven ability to lead, coach and support a team while maintaining exceptional service standards.
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written, with the confidence to engage professionally with international guests, VIPs and colleagues.
• Immaculate personal presentation and professionalism, reflecting the standards of a five-star luxury hotel.
• A calm, confident and approachable manner, with the ability to manage challenging situations and make sound decisions.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail and a genuine commitment to resolving guest concerns.
• Experience using hotel Property Management Systems and a sound understanding of night audit procedures.
• A proactive, collaborative approach to working with colleagues across the hotel.
• Availability to work overnight shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Unrestricted Australian working rights

Responsabilidades

• Oversee hotel operations overnight with Culinary, Food & Beverage, Security and other departments.
• Lead, coach and support overnight Front Office team with high service standards.
• Take ownership of guest requests, complaints and escalated matters.
• Deliver personalised guest experiences, including for VIPs and high-profile guests.
• Oversee overnight arrivals, departures and guest services.
• Complete night audit procedures, including financial reconciliations.
• Monitor hotel safety and security and coordinate incident responses.
• Make sound operational decisions and escalate significant matters.
