Job summary

TeamKids is hiring Educators for our North West region in Melbourne, delivering Outside School Hours Care to children aged 5-12 across multiple services at Weir Views, Essendon and surrounding suburbs. You’ll work between services with flexible shifts including before and after school care and school holiday hours, with a focus on engaging, hands-on learning and safe, fun experiences.

We offer on-the-job coaching, in-house training and development opportunities such as Director Of Service

Qualifications

• Experience in before/after school care or education preferred.
• Confident communicator with children, parents and colleagues.
• Passionate about helping children thrive and being part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging, age-appropriate activities for 5-12 years.
• Support children's safety and well-being with routines.
• Collaborate with a team and communicate with parents.

Shifts available:

• 7:00am-9:00am (Before School Care)
• 2:30pm-6:30pm (After School Care)
• 6-8 hour shifts during school holidays

About You

• Previous experience working in Before and After School Care or education is desired
• Passionate working with children and seeing them thrive
• Is involved, fun, a team player and ready to jump in
• Confident communicator with children, parents and colleagues

• Working with Children Check that is relevant to your state (WWCC,WWVP, Blue card, VIT)
• Has a Cert III or Diploma in an ACECQA approved course (or be working towards it) - Visit acecqa.gov.au to learn more about approved qualifications
