Job summary

YMCA Victoria is seeking a dedicated Team Leader to oversee operations at our aquatic facilities. You will manage and lead a small team, ensuring programs and services meet established standards while aligning with YMCA policies.

The role includes rostered duties and covering shifts as part of the Manager on Duty schedule. The ideal candidate will have lifeguard experience, current CPR and first aid certifications, and a strong admin skill set to support daily operations and customer service

Qualifications

• Essential qualifications include CPR, first aid, and lifeguard certificate.
• Experience in pool environments and duty manager duties is preferred.
• Ability to supervise and lead a small team with strong admin skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead teams in assigned areas to meet service standards.
• Lead, inspire, and motivate teams with clear goals and policy adherence.
• Support Manager on Duty by providing coverage across the facility.
• Attend to customers and staff during rostered hours, including seasonal peaks.
