YMCA Victoria is seeking a dedicated Team Leader to oversee operations at our aquatic facilities. You will manage and lead a small team, ensuring programs and services meet established standards while aligning with YMCA policies.
The role includes rostered duties and covering shifts as part of the Manager on Duty schedule. The ideal candidate will have lifeguard experience, current CPR and first aid certifications, and a strong admin skill set to support daily operations and customer service

Moira Shire Council has a number of aquatic and recreation facilities that are managed by YMCA Victoria. They include two stadiums: Cobram Sports Stadium and Nathalia Sports & Community Centre; an indoor fitness and aquatic centre at the Numurkah Aquatic & Fitness Centre; Seasonal Swimming Pools at Yarrawonga, Cobram, Strathmerton, Numurkah and Nathalia; and the Yarrawonga Foreshore Kiosk and Splash Park.
The team leader is an important part of the facility leadership team. You will manage and lead teams of employees in assigned areas and ensure that the delivery of the programs and services meets agreed standards.
They will lead, inspire, and motivate teams through clear and achievable team goals and ensure high standards of implementation of Policies and Procedures.
Team Leaders assist the Manager by working as part of the Manager on Duty roster, where they provide support to customers and staff across all areas of the facility.
This is a part‑time position with an hourly rate of up to $33.87 + super.
To be successful in this role you will have strong admin skills, show attention to detail, and have experience leading a small team. You will have experience working as a duty manager or lifeguard and able to commit to a regular pattern of work, whilst being able to include additional rostered hours during seasonal peak times.
