Job summary

COS is a growing, family-owned Australian company delivering office products nationwide. We are seeking a Warehouse Team Leader to coordinate outbound dispatch, supervise a small team and ensure deliveries meet safety and service standards.

You will work with third-party transport partners, guide onsite teams, and drive continuous improvements while keeping stakeholders updated on progress and delays.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse or distribution operations with daily team coordination.
• Sound knowledge of warehouse management systems and outbound operations.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and time management skills.
• Current forklift licence and Open Australian driver licence.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate outbound team's daily activities against priorities and foster accountability.
• Reinforce safety procedures during daily activities.
• Provide practical day-to-day guidance to the team and escalate formal matters.
• Carry out dispatch and delivery tasks and communicate expectations.
• Monitor delivery progress and coordinate transport with third-party providers.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Follow waste management procedures and support waste reduction initiatives.
• Contribute ideas and assist in implementing approved operational improvements.
• Resolve delivery and service issues within delegated authority and inform the Team Leader.
