Job summary

St Hilda's School Gold Coast – Southport QLD is seeking dedicated OSHC staff to join our Outside School Hours Care service and vacation care program.

Vacancies include Vacation Care Assistants and Assistant Educators with immediate start or 2027 commencement, offering flexible casual hours during term time and school holidays.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or ACECQA OSHC qualification highly desirable but not mandatory.
• Working with Children Check (Paid Blue Card), or eligibility to obtain one prior to appointment.
• Current CPR/First Aid qualification (or willingness to obtain), including Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management training.

Responsibilities

• Help set up and run daily activities, prepare resources and play environments under the direction of the OSHC Coordinator
• Pack away equipment and keep the space clean, tidy and welcoming
• Contribute to and support the Service's Child Safe Action Plan and Quality Improvement Plan
• Actively supervise children in the program and ensure the safety, and wellbeing of the children at all times
• Foster positive and supportive relationships with children and their families
• Actively supervise children at all times, both indoors and outdoors
• Uphold Workplace Health and Safety standards at all times.

Education

St Hilda's School is seeking a dedicated and experienced OSHC staff to be part of our Outside School Hours Care service and vacation care program. This is a wonderful opportunity for an early childhood professional who is passionate about working in a high-quality, play-based program within a supportive, faith-based school community.

Before & After School Care

School Term Time – Monday to Friday

7.00am – 9.00am and 3.00pm – 6.00pm

Vacation Care

School Holidays – Monday to Friday

Hours between 7.00am and 6.00pm
