Job summary

St Hilda’s School on the Gold Coast is seeking an experienced Outside School Hours Care Coordinator to lead the OSHC and vacation care program. This permanent role is on-site, with 30 hours per week during term time and 38 hours per week during school holidays, across Monday to Friday.

You will apply knowledge of National Regulations and Quality Standards, lead a diverse team, and promote child safety, collaboration, and high-quality play-based programming in a faith-based school community.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent NQF-approved qualification.
• Working with Children Check (Blue Card) or eligibility.
• CPR/First Aid with Anaphylaxis and Asthma training.
• Food Safety Supervisor Certificate.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Mandatory Child Safety Training completed.

Responsibilities

• Lead the OSHC program aligned with the My Time, Our Place Framework.
• Oversee safety, wellbeing and supervision of children and educators.
• Oversee OSHC educator HR matters and rostering.
• Contribute to the Service's Quality Improvement Plan (QIP).
• Ensure food safety and medication administration policies are followed.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and school policies.
