Job summary

Community Services #1 (CS#1) is seeking a dedicated Qualified Team Leader to join our OSHC program in Garran on a part-time basis. This role focuses on building strong connections with children, families and staff to support development in a safe, engaging environment.

You’ll lead day-to-day room operations, mentor team members, plan and document observations for program planning, and ensure compliance with child protection and health and safety requirements. Apply via our careers page.

Qualifications

• Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or ACECQA-approved equivalent qualification.
• Knowledge of Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations and National Quality Framework.

Responsibilities

• Lead and be accountable for day-to-day room operations, provide direction and mentoring for team members on running program activities, supervising, and interacting with children.
• Plan, document and maintain records of observation for each child's development and program planning.
• Create and maintain a safe, inclusive and engaging environment with active supervision and compliance with health and safety requirements.
