Job summary

Community Services #1 is hiring a Qualified Team Leader for the St Peter & Paul OSHC program in Garran. This part-time role involves leading daily operations, mentoring staff, and ensuring engaging activities that support children's development in a safe setting.

You will maintain records of observations for planning, uphold child wellbeing, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and frameworks. A Diploma in ECEC (or ACECQA-equivalent) is required, with current checks and a driver’s licence

Qualifications

• ACECQA-approved qualification relevant to OSHC (minimum Diploma of ECEC or equivalent).
• Knowledge of Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations and the National Quality Framework.
• Experience leading a team and running OSHC programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day room operations and mentor team members.
• Plan and document observations for children’s development for planning.
• Create a safe, inclusive environment with active supervision and wellbeing.
