Tradewind Australia is seeking an OSHC Service Leader to oversee the daily operation of the before and after school care program within a supportive school community.

Working Monday to Friday with morning and afternoon shifts, the role offers flexibility, remote administration hours, and a competitive rate of AUD 36.37 per hour plus superannuation and salary packaging.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or ACECQA-approved equivalent.
• Current or pending VIT Registration.
• OSHC/school-aged-care experience preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership or team-leading capability.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Understanding of child safety and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operation of the OSHC service.
• Plan and implement engaging experiences for school-aged children.
• Supervise, support and mentor educators.
• Build positive relationships with children, families and school staff.
• Maintain compliance with National Quality Framework.
• Ensure a safe, inclusive and child-focused environment.

About the Role

As the OSHC Service Leader, you will oversee the daily operation of the before and after school care program, ensuring a safe, engaging and inclusive environment for children.

Working Monday to Friday, the role involves morning and afternoon shifts with a break during the middle of the day. The school understands that split shifts may not suit everyone and is willing to discuss flexible options with suitable applicants.
