Job summary

anzuk Education partners with an established OSHC service in the Canberra region to appoint an OSHC Service Director who will oversee day-to-day operations, lead a team of educators and ensure compliance and safety across before, after school and vacation care.

The successful candidate will act as Nominated Supervisor or meet regulatory requirements, with a medium-term contract that could become ongoing, and the role offers a competitive salary package and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in OSHC leadership or senior 2IC roles.
• Strong understanding of OSHC operations and compliance.
• Ability to lead a team and manage rostering.

OSHC Service Director

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced OSHC leader to step into a Service Director role within a well‑established Outside School Hours Care service located in the Canberra region.

This role is ideal for a confident, hands‑on leader who enjoys supporting teams, maintaining strong operational standards, and delivering a high‑quality OSHC program.

About the Role

As Service Director, you will oversee the day‑to‑day operations of a large OSHC service, including before and after school care and vacation care. You will provide leadership to a team of educators while ensuring compliance, safety, and positive outcomes for children and families.

The successful candidate will act as the Nominated Supervisor, or be able to meet regulatory requirements to do so. This role is offered as a medium‑term contract, with potential to become ongoing.

What’s On Offer

• Full‑time hours, 38 hours per week, may include split shifts
• Salary up to $100,000 plus salary packaging and additional benefits

About You

• Proven experience in OSHC leadership, Service Director, Coordinator, or strong 2IC ready to step up
• Strong understanding of OSHC operations and compliance requirements
• Confident, organised, and able to lead a team effectively
• Available to commence within a short timeframe
