The Extend Group in Mount Barker region is seeking a dedicated OSHC professional to plan engaging activities, ensure safety, and support healthy eating for children after school.

You will collaborate with the Programs Engagement Manager and compliance experts to deliver high-quality OSHC services across local suburbs.

Qualifications

• The applicant has (or is studying toward) a Diploma or higher in Early Childhood, Teaching or related field.
• A warm, engaging attitude with a can-do approach.
• Valid Working With Children Check, First Aid/CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Management (willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Plan and run science experiments, sports tournaments, fun educational activities and creative arts that kids enjoy.
• Lead a safe, inclusive environment where every child feels valued.
• Prepare healthy, tasty snacks to keep energy levels high.
• Collaborate with Programs Engagement Manager on Assessment & Ratings with compliance support.
• Engage with stakeholders to build integrated OSHC programs.
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the service to run smoothly.

Job Details & Role

About your service: Work across services in surrounding suburbs of Mount Barker and Strathalbyn

Hourly Rate: $47.81 to $50.00 Per Hour + 12% Super.

Additional payment of $2.07 to $2.15 per hour available under Worker Retention Payment Scheme.

• Hours: Work 2-3 shifts or more, across Before and After School Care
• Vacation Care: Flexible 38 Hours per week.
• Travel: Work close to home
• Professional development sessions are paid training sessions, and Retention payments are above award
