Job summary

Extend After School Care is seeking an OSHC Relief Service Coordinator to lead engaging activities, maintain a safe and inclusive environment, and provide nutritious snacks. You will collaborate with the Programs Engagement Manager on assessments with support from compliance experts.

You’ll connect with the local school community to ensure high-quality, integrated OSHC programs, while managing day-to-day operations.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Early Childhood or related field (Diploma/Bachelor/Masters).
• Willingness to obtain Working With Children Check and First Aid/CPR.
• Strong communication and engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Be the Visionary: plan and run engaging activities and programs.
• Ensure safety and inclusivity for all children.
• Prepare healthy snacks to sustain energy levels.
• Collaborate with Programs Engagement Manager on assessments and ratings with compliance support.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders to support OSHC programs.
• Manage day-to-day operations to run the service smoothly.

About your service: Enjoy the variety and flexibility of working with some of our our fantastic partnerships acorss Claremont, Dianella, High Wycombe and Mosman Park cluster making a real impact while broadening your OSHC leadership experience.

Hourly Rate: $49.88 - $52.15 Per Hour (Including Worker Retention Payment Scheme) + 12% Super.

• Before School Care: 6:45 AM- 8:45 AM.
• After School Care: 2:30 PM to 6:00 PM.
• Hours: Monday to Friday. 2-3 shifts fortnightly.
• Contract: Casual.
• Professional development sessions are paid training sessions, and Retention payments are above award.

As our OSHC Relief Service Coordinator you will:

• Be the Visionary: You’re the boss of the service! You’ll plan and program epic science experiments, sports tournaments, fun educational activities and creative arts that kids actually want to do!
• Safety First, Fun Always: Lead a safe, inclusive environment while every child feels like a rockstar.
• Chef it up: Whip up healthy, tasty snacks that keep the energy levels high.
• Champion Quality: Work with your Programs Engagement Manager on Assessment & Ratings with the full backing of our compliance experts at our unit TEG Compass.
• The Community Connector: Ensure every stakeholder is heard and valued while building successful, integrated OSHC programs.
• The Clockwork Catalyst: Manage the day-to-day "business" of the service, ensuring everything runs like clockwork.

• The Qualification: You’ve got (or are studying toward) a Diploma, Bachelor’s, Masters in Early Childhood, Primary Teaching, or School Aged Care, Youth Work, Community Services, and more. Check with us if your qualification is approved!
