Job summary

The Extend Group is seeking an enthusiastic OSHC Service Assistant for Rockingham Lakes Primary School, Port Kennedy. You will support before/after school activities, lead safe and engaging programs, and help prepare healthy snacks in a casual role.

Hours include before school, after school, and flexible vacation care with a focus on creating positive experiences for children. Training and development opportunities are provided, with a contact at [e-mail] for more details.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Early Childhood or equivalent is required.
• Valid Working With Children Check, Child Protection Training Certificate, First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Management (willingness to obtain) is essential.

Job Details & Role

About your service: Rockingham Lakes Primary School, Port Kennedy

Hourly Rate: $37.59 - $47.68 (Including Worker Retention Payment Scheme) + 12% Super.

• Before School Care: 6:40 AM- 8:40 AM
• After School Care: 2:40 PM to 5:40 PM
• Hours: 3-5 shifts per week. Predominately Monday to Thursday.
• Vacation Care: Flexible upto 38 Hours per week.
• Contract: Casual.
• Professional development sessions are paid training sessions, and Retention payments are above award.

• Chef it up: Whip up healthy, tasty snacks that keep the energy levels high.
• The Community Connector: Ensure every stakeholder is heard and valued while building successful, integrated OSHC programs.

What You Bring to the Mix

• The Qualification: You’ve got a Certificate III in Early Childhood, Primary Teaching, or School Aged Care, Diploma, Bachelors, Masters and more. Check with us if your qualification is approved! (This is essential).
