Job summary

The Y Australia, in Shailer Park, is seeking a dedicated Coordinator to lead our Outside School Hours Care service. You will guide a team of educators, develop engaging child-led programs, and foster inclusive communities where families and schools collaborate to support children’s growth.

This role focuses on safe, compliant, and vibrant learning environments, with opportunities for professional development and career progression within the YMCA network.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Children’s Services or related ECEC/Teaching qualification (or studying towards).
• Experience in children’s programming and service operations.
• Strong communication, leadership and time-management skills.
• Valid Paid Blue Card or willingness to obtain.
• Current First Aid and CPR certificate or willingness to obtain.
• Commitment to creating a safe and inclusive environment for all children.
• Familiarity with the National Quality Framework.

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the service.
