Job summary

YMCA Brisbane is seeking a dedicated Coordinator to lead the Rainworth Outside School Hours Care service. You will supervise educators, develop engaging, child-led programs, and help build inclusive, vibrant communities.

The role focuses on daily operations, high standards of safety and compliance, and strong connections with families and schools, with career coaching and professional development within a supportive not-for-profit environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Children's Services (or studying towards).
• Experience in children's programming and service operations.
• Strong communication, leadership and time-management skills.
• Valid Paid Blue Card or willingness to obtain.
• Current First Aid and CPR certificate or willingness to obtain.
• Commitment to creating a safe and inclusive environment.
• Familiarity with the National Quality Framework.

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the service.
• Develop fun, child-led programs.
• Lead and support a team of passionate educators.
• Ensure high standards in compliance, administration, and safety.
