Job summary

YMCA East Brisbane Outside School Hours Care is seeking an Assistant Coordinator to join on a permanent part-time basis. You’ll support the Coordinator with day-to-day operations, lead programming, and guide educators to deliver safe, fun, and enriching care for children.

This role fosters community engagement with families and schools, requires a Diploma in Children’s Services or related qualification (or studying towards), and offers opportunities for career development within a not-for-profit

Qualifications

• Diploma in Children’s Services or related ECEC/Teaching qualification (or studying towards).
• Demonstrated experience in children’s programming and administration.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Valid Paid Blue Card or willingness to obtain.
• Current First Aid & CPR certificate or willingness to obtain.
• Commitment to creating a safe and inclusive environment for all children.
• Familiarity with the National Quality Framework.

• Provide guidance to educators and support staffing needs
