Job summary

Extend Group is seeking an OSHC Service Coordinator to lead after-school care at Melton West Primary School in Melton. You will plan engaging activities, ensure safety and inclusivity, and manage day-to-day operations while coordinating with education staff and the Programs Engagement Manager.

You will bring a relevant qualification (Diploma/Bachelor/Masters) and a warm, can-do attitude, with mandatory checks and first aid/CPR readiness. Training and retention payments are part of the package.

Qualifications

• Diploma, Bachelor’s, Master’s in Early Childhood, Primary Teaching, School Aged Care, Youth Work, Community Services (or approved equivalent).
• Valid Working With Children Check, Child Protection Training Certificate, First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Management (willingness to obtain).
• Warm, engaging and can-do attitude.
• Strong ability to connect with children, educators and school leadership.

Responsibilities

• Plan and program engaging activities and events (science experiments, sports, arts).
• Lead a safe, inclusive environment where every child feels included.
• Prepare healthy, tasty snacks to maintain energy levels.
• Collaborate with Programs Engagement Manager on assessment and ratings with compliance support.

About your service: Melton West Primary School, Melton

Hourly Rate: $45.46 Per Hour + 12% Super.

Additional payment of $4.32 per hour available under Worker Retention Payment Scheme.

• Before School Care: 6:45 am to 8:45 am
• After School Care: 2:30 pm to 6:30 pm.
• Hours: Monday to Friday. Guaranteed all school days.
• Travel: Work close to home
• Professional development sessions are paid training sessions, and Retention payments are above award.
