Prince of Peace OSHC, operated by Queensland Lutheran Education Queensland, seeks an Assistant Service Leader & Educational Leader to support daily operations, mentor educators and deliver high‑quality school‑aged programs at Everton Hills, QLD.

You will plan diverse activities, supervise learning spaces, and collaborate to ensure compliance with NQF and the My Time Our Place framework while fostering positive relationships with children and families.

Competenze

• Diploma or ACECQA‑approved equivalent and working towards it.
• Passion for working with school‑aged children.
• Reliable, flexible and a positive team player.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Solid understanding of NQS and the National Framework.
• Current Blue Card required.
• First Aid/CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willing to obtain).
• Child Protection training completed (or as required).
• OSHC experience preferred but all candidates considered.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; relationship building.
• Commitment to Christian ethos of the service.
• Food handling experience (desirable).

• Support daily operation of the OSHC service and mentor educators.
• Deliver high‑quality programs for children and families.
• Plan engaging activities and supervise indoor/outdoor learning.
• Assist Service Leader with leadership, mentoring and guidance to staff.
• Perform administrative tasks including records and documentation.
• Maintain a safe, welcoming space for children to learn and play.
• Develop programs aligned with My Time Our Place and NQF.
• Foster positive relationships with children, families and school community.
• Collaborate with team to achieve best outcomes.
