Junior Adventures Group is seeking an Assistant Coordinator to lead a team of Educators and oversee an engaging before- and after-school program for children aged 5–12 years. This leadership role focuses on rostering, operations, compliance and partnership with families.

You will work with support from a Coordinator and Regional Manager, to grow the service and deliver quality outcomes in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Working towards or completed a relevant qualification to work as a 2Year QualifiedEducatorin QLDin accordance with ACECQA National Child Safety Training completion prior to onboarding (via Gecko)
• Enjoys working with children and making a positive impact
• Communicates clearly and confidently
• Works well in a team and aspires to grow into a leadership role
• Holds (or is willing to obtain) a National Police Check and a Working with Children check
• Has Australian work rights

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Educators and oversee a before- and after-school program for ages 5–12.
• Design and help lead a vibrant, child-centred program with STEM, sports, cooking, arts and crafts.
• Assist with rosters, daily operations, compliance and administration.
• Build a positive, inclusive team culture and support Educators.
• Partner with families, school community and internal stakeholders to grow the service.
