Job summary

Junior Adventures Group in Chapel Hill is seeking an inspiring OSHC Assistant Coordinator to help lead a vibrant before- and after-school program for children aged 5–12. This role is part-time (20 hours per week) with split shifts across weekdays, offering meaningful leadership experience in a supportive environment.

You will design engaging activities, assist with rosters and operations, and partner with families and school communities.

Qualifications

• Working towards or completed a relevant qualification to work as a 2Year QualifiedEducatorin QLDin accordance with ACECQA
• National Child Safety Training completion prior to onboarding (via Gecko)
• Enjoys working with children and making a positive impact
• Communicates clearly and confidently
• Works well in a team and aspires to grow into a leadership role
• Holds (or is willing to obtain) a National Police Check and a Working with Children check

Responsibilities

• Design and help lead a vibrant, child‑centred program, filled with engaging experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, arts and crafts
• Assist withrosters, daily operations, compliance, and administration
• Build a positive, inclusive team culture where Educators feel supported, motivated, and proud of the program they deliver
• Partner with families, the school community, and internal stakeholders to ensure the service continues to grow and thrive
• Be supported by an experienced Coordinator and Regional Manager,so you’re never doing it alone
