GV Health is seeking an Orthopaedic Nurse Navigator in Victoria to coordinate and support patients through their orthopaedic surgical journey, with a focus on those experiencing extended waits for treatment.
You will work with orthopaedic surgeons, nursing staff, allied health professionals and administrative teams to facilitate timely access to care, improve communication, identify barriers to treatment and help patients navigate complex healthcare pathways.

The Orthopaedic Nurse Navigator is responsible for coordinating and supporting patients throughout their orthopaedic surgical journey, with a particular focus on patients experiencing extended waits for treatment.
Working collaboratively with orthopaedic surgeons, nursing staff, allied health professionals, administrative teams, and external healthcare providers, the Nurse Navigator facilitates timely access to care, improves communication, identifies barriers to treatment, and supports patients in navigating complex healthcare pathways.

Located in Rushworth, Waranga Health is a 36-bed aged-care facility. The health service includes a four-bed acute care unit, a district nursing service, outpatient ambulatory consulting services and a dedicated palliative care suite and respite bed. Care and treatment are provided 24 hours a day by a talented multidisciplinary team working across a range of medical, nursing and allied health services.
