Job summary

Southern Cross Care Queensland is seeking an Organisational Capability Manager to shape workforce capability and leadership development. You will lead a team of L&D professionals, building organisational capability, supporting career development and fostering continuous learning in a not-for-profit aged care environment.

You will collaborate with the People & Culture team to drive leadership programs, manage capability frameworks, and ensure sustainable, practical solutions across regional

Qualifications

• Experience in organisational development or learning and development leadership.
• Strong leadership and succession planning experience.
• Ability to translate organisational objectives into capability strategies.
• Proven stakeholder engagement and project management skills.
• Experience with geographically dispersed teams.
• Knowledge of learning technologies and capability frameworks.
• Aged care or similar complex service environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of learning and capability strategies.
• Design leadership development, talent ID, succession and career pathways.
• Partner with leaders to identify capability gaps and create solutions.
• Oversee a dispersed learning function with regional support.
• Oversee mandatory training, learning systems and reporting.
• Support organisational development and employee engagement initiatives.
• Manage PALM Scheme and other workforce programs.
• Evaluate initiative effectiveness for continuous improvement.
