Job summary

Southern Cross Care Queensland is seeking an Organisational Capability Manager to lead learning, leadership development and workforce capability initiatives. Reporting to the Head of People & Culture, you will guide strategic capability initiatives and build a culture of continuous learning across a dispersed workforce.

You will lead a team of L&D professionals, design succession pathways, partner with operations to close capability gaps, oversee training, systems and reporting, and advance

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in organisational development, workforce capability or learning and development leadership.
• Strong experience in leadership development, talent development, coaching and succession planning.
• You understand that capability development goes beyond training programs.
• Proven ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of organisational learning and capability strategies across SCCQ.
• Design leadership development, talent identification and career pathway initiatives.
• Partner with operational leaders to identify capability gaps and create practical solutions.
• Oversee a dispersed learning function, including regional and site-based learning support.
• Coordinate mandatory training, learning systems, compliance reporting and workforce development programs.
• Collaborate with People & Culture on organisational development and employee engagement.
