Job Title: Organisation Methods Analyst

Reporting to: Director / Operations Manager

Salary: AUD 90,000 – 115,000 + Superannuation

About The Role

As a member of a fast-growing, results-driven organisation, the successful candidate will play a key role in analysing organisational methods, systems, and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

This position is responsible for evaluating current operations, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions that support strategic and operational objectives. The role requires a combination of analytical, technical, and advisory capabilities to enhance organisational performance.

Your Responsibilities
  • Studying and evaluating current organisational structures, methods, systems, and procedures
  • Analysing workflows, resource utilisation, and operational inefficiencies
  • Conducting organisational studies including time-and-motion studies and work measurement
  • Developing and implementing improved administrative, operational, and procedural systems
  • Recommending optimal organisational structures, staffing levels, and role responsibilities
  • Preparing detailed reports, process documentation, and recommendations for management
  • Advising management on business process improvements, cost efficiencies, and productivity enhancements
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of policies and procedures
  • Collecting and analysing data to support operational and strategic decision-making
  • Supporting change management initiatives and implementation of new systems
  • Liaising with stakeholders to identify business needs and ensure effective solutions
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory, organisational, and quality standards
Main Criteria
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in Business, Management, Commerce, or related field
  • Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience as an Organisation Methods Analyst or similar role
  • Demonstrated experience in analysing organisational methods, systems, and procedures
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and research skills
  • Proven ability to develop and implement process improvements
  • Experience in preparing reports, policies, and procedural documentation
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • High-level organisational skills, initiative, and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Computer literacy: MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and process analysis tools
Additional Criteria
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma desirable)
  • Experience in organisational design and workforce planning
  • Familiarity with project management and change management practices
  • Ability to interpret data and provide actionable business insights
  • Experience working in a consulting, corporate, or operational environment
