Job summary

Norwest Recruitment in Western Sydney is seeking a proactive Customer Service Operator to act as the main contact for customers and sales teams across Australia. You will manage enquiries, process orders, coordinate with warehouses and freight providers, and support the sales team to deliver a seamless customer experience.

The role combines customer service, administration and sales support, with inbound and outbound calls, order accuracy, and proactive follow-ups.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or call centre roles.
• Strong verbal communication and professional telephone manner.
• Attention to detail when processing orders in SAP.
• Able to liaise with warehouses, sales teams and freight providers.
• Comfortable with inbound and outbound customer contact.

Responsibilities

• Manage incoming calls and enquiries relating to orders, products, pricing and availability.
• Process customer orders accurately through SAP.
• Liaise with warehouse managers, sales reps and freight companies.
• Follow up outstanding orders, backorders and delivery issues.
• Make outbound calls to follow up enquiries, quotes and orders.
• Identify sales opportunities and support Business Development Executives.
• Handle invoices and general admin for customer orders.
• Collaborate with Hub team to resolve customer, stock and delivery issues.
