Job summary

Perth Airport Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Operational Readiness Lead to guide the transition of capital projects into live operations. You will apply Perth Airport’s OR framework across projects, coordinating readiness activities with operational teams, airlines, contractors and other stakeholders.

You will run readiness workshops, trials and testing, develop ORAT plans and trackers, and monitor progress to identify gaps, risks and barriers.

Qualifications

• Experience in operational readiness, aviation, or complex stakeholder environments.
• Proven ability to coordinate readiness activities, workshops and testing.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, facilitation and influencing skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for high-quality documentation.
• Well-developed organizational and coordination capabilities.
• Analytical, with ability to identify risks and readiness gaps.
• Adaptable, collaborative and accountable with continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Apply ORAT framework across capital projects to ensure readiness.
• Coordinate readiness workshops, trials, testing and familiarisation activities.
• Develop and maintain ORAT plans and readiness trackers.
• Identify requirements, assess impacts and validate readiness with stakeholders.
• Report readiness status and escalate gaps, risks and barriers.
• Support continuity planning and lessons learnt to improve processes.
