Job summary

Perth Airport is embarking on a major infrastructure program and is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead planning and delivery across civil, construction and commercial projects. You will ensure work is completed safely, on time, within budget, and aligned with governance frameworks.

You will develop detailed project plans, monitor progress, manage risks, engage with internal stakeholders and external contractors, and report to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline with 5+ years of project or construction management experience.
• Experience with major infrastructure construction methods and materials.
• Strong planning, scheduling, cost management and risk management capabilities.
• Experience managing contracts and ensuring deliverables and compliance.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to plan, coordinate multiple activities and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and delivery of project activities, ensuring safety, timeliness and budget adherence.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, deliverables and milestones.
• Coordinate scope definition, requirements gathering and stakeholder consultations.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, contractors and governance groups.
• Monitor risks, issues, dependencies and changes with mitigation strategies.
• Manage resources, budgets and expenditure with accurate forecasting and reporting.
• Prepare project documentation, reports and status updates on progress and performance.
• Support project closeout, transition and continuous improvement activities.
