Job summary

Perth Airport Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex capital works projects from planning through completion. You will manage scope, budget, schedule, safety and regulatory requirements while coordinating multidisciplinary teams across the organisation and external partners.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Architecture, Building Design or related discipline.
• Experience delivering complex capital projects typically ranging from $5M to $100M in value.
• Strong background delivering major infrastructure, aviation, health, defence or other complex facilities projects.
• Proven capability across project controls: planning, scheduling, cost management, forecasting and risk management.
• Strong commercial acumen and understanding of contracts, procurement processes and governance.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with diverse groups.
• Experience leading, mentoring and developing project teams while fostering a collaborative culture.
• Proficiency in PM systems and Microsoft applications including Aconex, SharePoint, MS Project, Outlook, Teams, Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and delivery of capital works projects, ensuring scope, budget, and schedule are met.
• Define objectives and deliverables through stakeholder consultation and governance processes.
• Manage risks, issues and dependencies with mitigation strategies and escalation as required.
• Develop project schedules, resource plans and delivery programs to meet milestones.
• Build relationships with sponsors, contractors, regulators and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor budgets, resources and provide accurate reporting and forecasting.
• Lead meetings, governance reviews and stakeholder engagements with clear communication.
• Coordinate and support project teams, mentoring and guiding capability growth.
• Drive continuous improvement in governance and delivery practices across projects.
• Oversee closeout and handover activities with lessons learned captured.
