Evolution Mining’s Cowal Gold Operations is seeking an experienced Dispatch Operator to join the Open Cut Mining team. You’ll coordinate fleet movements, manage production priorities and make real-time decisions to keep the site operating safely and efficiently.

Based at Cowal Gold Operations, you’ll operate MineStar Fleet Management to optimise fleet performance and support cross‑functional teams. The roster for this role is a 7/7 continuous shift and you’ll work across multiple stakeholders to

• Experience in mining, dispatch, production coordination or a similar operational environment.
• Strong ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions quickly.
• Excellent prioritisation and multitasking skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• A proactive approach with a strong work ethic.
• The ability to interpret and apply mine planning and production information.

Responsibilities

• Operate the MineStar Fleet Management System to optimise fleet performance.
• Allocate haul trucks and coordinate equipment movements across the mine.
• Manage shift change allocations to maximise production efficiency.
• Monitor production, equipment availability and operational priorities in real time.
• Coordinate with mining, maintenance, processing, geology, survey and engineering teams.
• Maintain accurate production records, reporting and system updates.
• Support safe and effective communication across the operation.

What’s the opportunity?

Evolution are looking for an experienced Dispatch Operator to join our Open Cut Mining team. You'll be at the centre of a fast-paced mining operation, coordinating fleet movements, managing production priorities and making real-time decisions that keep the site operating safely and efficiently. Working across multiple stakeholders, you'll balance changing operational demands, monitor equipment utilisation, respond to breakdowns and ensure production targets are achieved in a dynamic environment where no two shifts are the same.
