Evolution Mining's Cowal Gold Operations is seeking a Gold Room Operator to safely operate and maintain the final stage of the gold production process, from electrowinning through dore production and shipment. Working a family-friendly 5:2/4:3 roster with 10-hour shifts offers a strong work-life balance while contributing to one of Australia's premier gold operations.

Based at Cowal Operations and reporting to the Day Services Supervisor, you will ensure safety, compliance and asset stewardship

Qualifications

• Experience in mineral processing, gold room operations, or a similar industrial environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures and maintain records.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and maintain gold room processes from electrowinning through dore production and shipment.
• Maintain high standards of operational security, compliance and asset stewardship.
• Contribute to reliable plant performance through monitoring, reporting, and responding to deviations.
• Support safety culture, continuous improvement and teamwork across processing.
• Assist with reagent handling, tailings inspections, RO plant operation and other processing tasks.
• Maintain a clean, organized, high-performing workplace and support training of others.

What’s the opportunity?

Play a critical role in one of the most important areas of our processing operation. As a Gold Room Operator, you'll be responsible for safely operating and maintaining the final stage of the gold production process, ensuring the secure handling and processing of our gold product from electrowinning through to dore pouring and shipment.

Working a family friendly 5:2/4:3 roster with 10 hour day shifts, you'll enjoy a great balance between work and life while contributing to the performance of one of Australia's premier gold operations. This is a unique opportunity to become a specialist within the processing team and play a direct role in the delivery of Cowal's production outcomes.

Based at our Cowal Operations and reporting to the Day Services Supervisor, you'll:

• Safely operate and maintain gold room processes from electrowinning through to dore production and shipment.
• Maintain the highest standards of operational security, compliance, and asset stewardship within the gold room environment.
• Contribute to reliable plant performance through effective monitoring, reporting, and response to equipment or process deviations.
• Support a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and operational excellence across the processing team.
• Assist with reagent handling, tailings facility inspections, RO plant operation, and other processing support activities as required.
• Help maintain a clean, organised, and high performing workplace while supporting the training and development of others
