Job summary

Evolution Mining is seeking an experienced Dispatch Operator for the Cowal Gold Operations, overseeing fleet movements, production priorities and real-time decisions to keep the site operating safely and efficiently.

You will coordinate across mining, maintenance, processing, geology, survey and engineering teams, ensuring accurate production records and effective communication. The role is based on site with a 7/7 continuous roster.

Qualifications

• Experience in mining, dispatch, production coordination or a similar operational environment.
• Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions.
• Excellent prioritisation and multitasking skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Commitment to safety and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Operate the MineStar Fleet Management System to optimise fleet performance
• Allocate haul trucks and coordinate equipment movements across the mine
• Manage shift change allocations to maximise production efficiency
• Monitor production, equipment availability and priorities in real time
• Coordinate with mining, maintenance, processing, geology, survey and engineering teams
• Maintain accurate production records, reporting and system updates
• Support safe and effective communication across the operation

What’s the opportunity?

Evolution are looking for an experienced Dispatch Operator to join our Open Cut Mining team. You’ll be at the centre of a fast-paced mining operation, coordinating fleet movements, managing production priorities and making real-time decisions that keep the site operating safely and efficiently. Working across multiple stakeholders, you’ll balance changing operational demands, monitor equipment utilisation, respond to breakdowns and ensure production targets are achieved in a dynamic environment where no two shifts are the same.

Based at our Cowal Gold Operations, you’ll:

• Operate the MineStar Fleet Management System to optimise fleet performance
• Allocate haul trucks and coordinating equipment movements across the mine
• Manage shift change allocations to maximise production efficiency
• Monitor production, equipment availability and operational priorities in real time

The roster for this role is 7/7 continuous shift
