Avada Traffic Management is seeking an Operations Systems & Data Administrator to own data quality, governance, and standard setting for Traffio across Australia and New Zealand. Based in Brisbane, you will report to the Executive General Manager – Strategy, Execution & Operations ANZ.
You’ll implement naming conventions, classifications, and mandatory fields, run audits, administer Traffio users, and act as the national point of contact for training, support and change management.
If you're the person who spots the duplicate record, the missing field, or the inconsistent name that others walk past, this role was built for you.
Avada Traffic Management is creating a new national role to own the quality, consistency, and governance of the operational data our teams across Australia and New Zealand use every day. You'll report directly to the Executive General Manager – Strategy, Execution & Operations ANZ. You'll set the standard and have the mandate to uphold it.
Avada Traffic Management is one of Australia and New Zealand's leading traffic management businesses. We deliver traffic control, planning, permits, and equipment hire across QLD, NSW, VIC and New Zealand. We're ASX listed and growing, and we're investing in one national operating platform across all our regions. Traffio sits at the centre of it.
This role is based at our Woolloongabba head office in Brisbane.
Traffio is our operational scheduling and resourcing platform. As our national footprint grows, you'll make sure the data behind it stays accurate, consistent, and ready to support decisions.
Own fleet, equipment, hire asset, depot and resource records across Australia and New Zealand, covering creation, transfers, maintenance, and cleansing.
Set and maintain national standards for naming, classification, depot tagging and mandatory fields, with the authority to return incomplete requests.
Run a scheduled audit programme and write the SOPs that keep standards consistent across shifts, leave, and peak periods.
Administer Traffio user profiles, roles, and permissions, including regular access reviews.
Be the national point of contact for Traffio: user support, training and guides, vendor liaison, the change register, and user acceptance testing.
Support our HSEQ and Plans & Permits teams with Traffio tags, alerts, document libraries, version control, access, and reporting.
You'll sit in our Strategic Execution & Operations division, which covers Operations, HSEQ, and Plans & Permits. Operations is your primary customer. This is an operations and systems role; payroll, invoicing and client billing sit with other teams.
Two or more years administering an operational scheduling, rostering, workforce, or asset management system used in Australia or New Zealand. Examples include Traffio, Assignar, Damstra, Humanforce, Ento, Tanda, Entire OnHire, AroFlo, MEX, Teletrac Navman and Road Manager.
A real owner of data quality: naming conventions, classifications, mandatory fields, duplicates, and audits.
Strong Excel skills. You can take a large export and find the exceptions quickly.
You write procedures that operational people actually use.
You're comfortable holding a standard with busy operational leaders while keeping the relationship strong.
You're patient and practical when supporting and training frontline and depot-based users.
Experience in traffic management, civil, construction, labour hire, logistics or utilities is a strong advantage. If you've administered a comparable platform overseas and now live in Australia with full work rights, we'd like to hear from you. We can teach the platform.
A national remit, a clear mandate and a direct reporting line to an Executive General Manager.
You set the standard and you're backed to uphold it.
Your work supports safer allocation of people and equipment, better asset use and more confident decisions.
Exposure to national systems, governance and change work as our platform programme grows.
Hybrid working from our Woolloongabba office, close to the Brisbane CBD.
Everything we do sits behind one commitment: we get everyone home.
Avada Traffic Management is an equal opportunity employer. We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds and are committed to an inclusive, safe workplace.
