Job summary

AVADA Traffic is seeking an experienced Supervisor to manage daily operations and lead a team of traffic controllers on the Gold Coast. This hands-on role requires balancing safety with client service and efficient operations across multiple sites, with regular travel between depots.

Based at the Staplyton depot and reporting to the Regional Manager, you will drive safety, quality, and performance. The role emphasizes leadership, team development, and adherence to traffic safety protocols,

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ supervisory experience in traffic control.
• Proven ability to lead large teams in time-sensitive environments.
• Valid traffic control certification and driver’s licence.
• Strong knowledge of traffic management plans and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and support a large team of traffic controllers.
• Oversee daily operations to ensure safe and efficient service delivery.
• Conduct site audits and maintain strong on-site presence.
• Ensure accurate completion of pre-starts, inspections, and site documentation.
• Manage rosters and resolve rejected shifts.
• Maintain vehicle roadworthiness and signage inventory.
• Respond to incidents, client needs, and feedback promptly.
• Assist with operational planning and budgeting.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Supervisor to manage daily operations and lead our team of traffic controllers. This role is hands‑on and people‑focused, ensuring safe, efficient, and high‑quality service delivery across the Gold Coast region.

The position is based at our Staplyton depot and reports directly to the Regional Manager, with regular travel between sites and depots.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and support a large team of traffic controllers
• Oversee daily operations to ensure safe and efficient service delivery
• Conduct site audits and maintain strong on‑site presence
• Ensure accurate completion of pre‑starts, inspections, and site documentation
