Job summary

Altus Traffic is seeking a Traffic Scheduler in Brisbane. The role handles scheduling of job bookings, assigns controllers and assets, and performs data entry and inquiries in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all details of incoming job bookings.
• Ensure daily client call-backs are completed.
• Assign correct personnel for each job.
• Assign assets for each job including vehicles and barriers.
• Ensure inductions, licencing, training and fatigue management policies are met.
• Provide proactive feedback to on-road staff.
• Monitor and report on traffic controller performance.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on scheduling matters.

About the role

We are currently looking for a Traffic Scheduler to join our team in Brisbane.

The Scheduler is responsible for receiving and entering all client job bookings onto the system, assigning traffic controllers and assets to each of those bookings.

You will also be responsible for data entry, answering enquiries and administrative related tasks. This is a fast-paced environment, and we require someone who is calm under pressure, has a high level of attention to detail and who is able to multi-task.

Duties

• Coordinate all details of incoming job bookings
• Ensure daily client call-backs are completed
• Assign the correct personnel for each job
• Assign assets for each job including vehicles, bollards, barriers mesh etc
• Ensure policies and procedures relating to client inductions, licencing, training and fatigue management are met
• Deliver positive, proactive and committed feedback to on road staff
• Monitor, evaluate and report on traffic controller performance via client call-backs and feedback
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders concerning scheduling related matters

Skills & Experience

• Experience in high volume scheduling work and/or rostering of people and resources
• A strong motivation to encourage and communicate safe work practices
• Sound administrative skills and computer literacy
• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) with a customer service focus
• Self-motivated with the ability to be proactive and solutions driven with tasks
• Ability to multi-task and juggle multiple priorities
• Experience in traffic management or a similar industry is highly regarded
