Job summary

St Vincent de Paul Society NSW is seeking an Operations Support Officer to provide hands-on project, administrative and stakeholder support to the Regional Director and team. This 16-hour-per-week, part-time role helps keep regional operations running smoothly, coordinating projects, maintaining databases, and supporting programs such as WE CARE, NILS, EAPA, Emergency Relief and Twinning.

  • High levels of initiative, enthusiasm, drive and energy.

  • The ability to confidently engage with a diverse range of stakeholders, including members, volunteers and staff.
  • A current NSW Driver Licence.
  • A Certificate IV in Business/Office Administration or equivalent will be highly regarded.
  • Experience with data analysis or working in a membership-based organisation will also be advantageous.

  • Contribute to effective risk management, compliance and workplace health and safety.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and the way we support our regional teams.

Your Role

As an Operations Support Officer, you’ll provide hands‑on project, administrative and stakeholder support to the Regional Director and team, helping keep regional operations running smoothly. Working with members, volunteers and staff, you’ll coordinate projects and initiatives, maintain databases and information, support member programs and compliance checks, and assist with communications, events and forums. You’ll play an important role in keeping information flowing, priorities on track and our regional teams well supported.This is a 16 hour per week role with flexibility across days and hours, offering meaningful part‑time work with plenty of variety and purpose.
