About the role

We have an exciting role as a National Operations Support - Transitions for our Customer Onboarding process within our Managed Services Division, Wasteflex.

This is a full-time role, working three days per week. The role will be required to work in the office two days per week.

The key focus of this role is to manage and be accountable for the customer onboarding process. It plays a critical role in ensuring customer and stakeholder expectations are met through structured planning and delivery.

This role will proactively partner with new and existing service providers, subcontractors, and suppliers, and internal stakeholders.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for new customers during the onboarding process.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships, ensuring customer needs are understood and addressed.
  • Guide new customers through the onboarding journey, including account setup, service scheduling, and site assessments.
  • Explain service agreements, pricing structures, and company policies.
  • Address customer questions or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.
  • Coordinate the delivery and installation of waste collection equipment (e.g., bins, skips, compactors).
  • Ensure operational teams are aligned with customer requirements and deadlines.
  • Accurately input customer details, service agreements, and schedules into the CRM system.
  • Maintain and update customer records to reflect changes in services.

Experience:

  • Proven track record in subcontractors/supplier management and coordination
  • Experience in similar roles where structured planning was essential to customer success
  • Strong Microsoft office skills (MS Excel)
  • Waste industry experience highly desirable

Skills:

  • High level oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated high-level organisational skills, including the ability to establish own work priorities and manage time effectively, whilst remaining flexible to respond to changing needs in a busy environment.
  • Advanced interpersonal, communication, negotiation, consultation, and collaboration skills incorporating the ability to liaise and consult effectively with personnel at all levels.
  • Action oriented with strong organisational and time management skills
